Modus 2 - Base-n

„Grondtalconversie

In deze modus kunt u de getalbasis (10, 16, 2, 8) instellen door op [ 2nd ] [ dhbo ] te drukken. Selecteer de gewenste getalbasis in het weergegeven menu door het te onderlijnen en vervolgens op

[ ] te drukken. Het overeenkomstig symbool – " d ", " h ", " b ",

"o " zal op het beeldscherm weergegeven worden. (De standaardinstelling is d: decimale getalbasis). Zie Voorbeeld 58.

(Opmerking) : In deze mode kunt u werken met de volgende cijfers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, /A, IB, IC, ID, IE en IF. Indien er een waarde gebruikt wordt die niet geldig is voor de gekozen getalbasis, wijs dan de overeenkomstige indicator (d, h, b, o) toe, of er zal een foutmelding verschijnen.

Binaire getalbasis ( b ) : 0, 1

Octale getalbasis( o ) : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Decimale getalbasis ( d ) : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Hexadecimale getalbasis ( h ) : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, /A, IB, IC,ID, IE, IF

Door op [ ] te drukken kunt u de blokfunctie gebruiken om een

resultaat met meer dan 8 cijfers in de octale of binaire getalbasis weer te geven. Het systeem kan maximaal 4 blokken weergeven. Zie Voorbeeld 59.

„Negatieve uitdrukking

zIn de binaire, octale, en hexadecimale getalbasissen, stelt de rekenmachine negatieve nummers voor aan de hand van de complementnotatie. Het complement is het resultaat dat bekomen wordt in deze getalbasis door het getal van 100000000000000000000000000000000 af te trekken, door op de [ NEG ] toets in een niet-decimale getalbasis te drukken. Zie Voorbeeld 60.

„Rekenkundige basisbewerkingen in andere getalbasissen

zMet de rekenmachine kunt u berekeningen maken met niet- decimale grondtallen. De rekenmachine kan binaire, octale en hexadecimale getallen optellen, aftrekken, vermenigvuldigen en delen. Zie Voorbeeld 61.

„Logische functies

Logische functies worden uitgevoerd aan de hand van logische operators (AND), negatieve logische operators (NAND), logische sommen (OR), exclusieve logische sommen (XOR), negaties (NOT), en negaties van exclusieve logische sommen (XNOR). Zie Voorbeeld 62.
