The EarthSmart ECM Series Chiller uses electrical circuit breaker to protect the chiller from overloads or improper operating conditions.
Circuit Breakers
IMPORTANT: Always refer to the wiring diagrams that came with your chiller to locate specific electrical components. Illustrations in the User Guide are intended to be representative only.
To check or reset the chiller’s circuit breakers:
1Disconnect and lockout the main power supply. 
2Remove the chiller’s top lid, by first removing both side panels and then the four (4) retaining bolts that secure the chiller’s top lid.
3Locate the appropriate circuit breaker(s), located behind the chiller’s control panel. See the wiring diagrams that came with your chiller.
4Check the circuit breaker(s) position and condition. The chiller will not operate correctly if one or more circuit breakers have been tripped (facing down).
5Reset the circuit breaker(s), if necessary.
6Replace the chiller’s side panels and then the top lid by replacing the four
(4) retaining bolts.
7Reapply main power.
