Mostplastics are susceptibleto damage fromvarious
typesof commercialsolvents and maybe damaged
bytheir use. Useclean cloths to remove dirt, carbon
dust,etc.

gasoline,petroleum-based products, penetrating
oils,etc. come incontactwith plastic ports. They
contain chemicalsthat candamage, weakenor
destroyplastic.
It hasbeen found that electrictools are subjectto
acceleratedwear end possiblepremature failure when
they areused on fiberglassbeats,sports cars,
wallboard,spacklingcompounds, or plaster.The
chipsandgrindings from these matedals are highly
abrasiveto electrictool parts such as bearings,
brushes,commutators, etc. Consequently,it is not
recommendedthat this tool be used for extended
workon any fiberglassmaterial, wallboard, spackling
compounds, orp_estar.Dudng any use onthese
materialsit is extremely importantthat the tool is
cleanedfrequently by blowingwith an air jet.
LUBRICATION
Allof thebeadngs in this tool arelubricatedwith a
sufficientamountof high grade lubricantfor the life of
theunit under normal operatingconditions. Therefore,
nofurther lubricationisrequired.
EXTENSION CORDS
The use ofany extension cordwill cause some lossof
power.To keep the losstoa minimumandto prevent
tooloverheating, use an extensioncordthat is heavy
enoughto carrythe currentthe tool willdraw.
A wiregage size (A.W.G.) of at least 14 is recom-
mendedfor an extension cord 25 feet or less in
length.When workingoutdoors,use an extension
cordthat is suitable foroutdoor use. The cord's jacket
willbe marked WA.
_CAUTION: Keepextensioncordsaway fromthe
cuttingarea end positionthe cord so that itwill
notget caught on lumber, tools,etc., dudng
cuffingoperation.
A WARNING: Checkextensioncords before each
