•Removeall loose parts fromthe carton. Separate
andcheckwith the listof looseparts. See Figure2.
•Removethe packing materials fromaround your

• Carefully liftsawfrom the carton and place it on a
levelwork surface.This saw is heavy. To avoid
backinjury, get help when needed.
•Do notdiscardthe packing materialsuntilyou
havecarefully inspectedthe sew, identifiedall
looseparts,and satisfactorilyoperated yournew
SeW.
•Yoursew has been shipped with the sew arm
lockedin the down position.To release sew arm,
pushdownon top of sew arm and pull out the lock
pin.See Figure 4.
•Handpressure should remainon the saw arm to
preventsudden dse upon release of the lock pin.
•Examineall parts to make sure no breakage or
damagehas occurred duringshipping.
Ifany parts are damaged or missing,do notattemptto
plugin the power cordand turn the switch on untilthe
damagedor missing partsare obtained and are
installedcorrectly.
