Section 3 - Configuration

Firmware

The Firmware Update section allows you to upgrade the firmware of the DIR-855L. Make sure the firmware you want to use is on the local hard drive of the computer. Click on Browse to locate the firmware file to be used for the update. Please check the D-Link support website for firmware updates athttp://support.dlink.com. You can download firmware upgrades to your hard drive from this site.

Browse: After you have downloaded the new firmware, click Browse to locate the firmware update on your hard drive. Click Upload to complete the firmware upgrade.

Upload: Once you have a firmware update on your computer, use this option to browse for the file and then upload the information into the router.

Language Pack

You can change the language of the web UI by uploading available language packs.

Browse: After you have downloaded the new language pack, click Browse to locate the language pack file on your hard drive. Click Upload to complete the language pack upgrade.
