Returning a Hard Drive to Dell

Return your old hard drive to Dell in its original or comparable foam packaging. Otherwise, the hard drive may be damaged in transit.

Removing a Battery

Before removing the battery, ensure that the computer is turned off or disconnected from an electrical outlet.

1Unlock the battery as shown in the following graphic.

2Slide and hold the battery latch all the way up until the left edge of the battery pops up.

3Remove the battery.
