2Align the infrared sensors so that they are unobstructed and within close range.

3Tap and hold the item, and tap Beam xxxx on the pop-up menu, where xxxx is the item you want to beam.

You can also send items (excluding folders) from File Explorer. Tap and hold the item you want to send, and tap Beam File on the pop-up menu.

Using Bluetooth® Wireless Technology

Bluetooth is a wireless technology aimed at simplifying communications between devices and the Internet. It is an open specification for short-range communication of data and voice. For example, it can synchronize data between hand-held devices and other computers.

To configure a device with Bluetooth wireless technology in a Pocket PC environment:

1Ensure that the two devices are turned on, discoverable, and within close range.

2Tap Start →Settings →Connections tab.

3Tap Bluetooth →Devices tab →New Partnership. Your device searches for other Bluetooth devices and displays them in the list.

4Tap the name of the other device, and tap Next.
