Replacing the Wireless Card

Procedure

CAUTION: To avoid damage to the wireless card, do not place any cables under it.

1Align the notch on the wireless card with the tab on the wireless-card connector.

2Insert the wireless card into the wireless-card connector and replace the screw that secures the wireless card to the system board.

3Connect the antenna cables to the wireless card.

NOTE: The color of the antenna cables is visible near the tip of the cables.

The following table provides the antenna-cable color scheme for the wireless card supported by your computer.

4Adhere the Mylar and conductive tape on the antenna cables.
