11.4Cómo regular la densidad del espresso/café

1.Gire el selector para regular el tipo de espresso/café (Figura 9) desde normal, a fuerte o extra fuerte.

2.Girando el selector a la derecha aumenta la

cantidad de granos que molerá la máquina, y

por lo tanto será más denso y tendrá un sabor más fuerte. Nota: Las primeras veces que utilice la máquina tendrá que ir probando hasta dar con la posición correcta.

3. Nota: No lo gire demasiado hacia la derecha, de lo contrario el café saldrá

demasiado despacio (a gotas) cuando quiera preparar dos tazas de espresso/café.

11.5 Cantidad de Espresso/Café

11. 5A La diferencia de cantidad entre un Espresso y un Café

•“Ristretto” (corto) espresso: de _ a 1 onza (de 14 a 30 ml) de café

•“Espresso”: de 1 a 1,5 onzas (de 30 a 50 ml) de café

•Largo (Café americano/doble): de 5 a 8 onzas (de 147 a 236 ml) de café

Nota: Le aconsejamos añadir una pizca de azúcar al café “ristretto” o al “espresso”. El café americano puede beberlo sólo, o con azúcar y leche si lo prefiere.

Consejo: Si vierte la leche y el azúcar en la taza antes de que salga el espresso/café se disolverán más uniformemente.

Consejo: Si pone el selector de la cantidad de café al máximo y pulsa el botón de 2 tazas, la máquina preparará un café de 12 onzas (473 ml). Normalmente esté café es demasiado ligero para los bebedores de café, así que regule el volumen según su gusto.
