enciendan intermitentemente, significa que ha llegado el momento de descalcificar la máquina.

Cuando la luz se enciende, podrá seguir usando la máquina para preparar un espresso/café. Pero para disfrutar del mejor espresso/café, le recomendamos que descalcifique la máquina en

cuanto la luz empiece a ponerse intermitente.

Durante el proceso de descalcificación la máquina tiene que estar enchufada y encendida.

Proceda de la manera siguiente:

• Prepare la solución siguiendo las instrucciones indicadas en el paquete del producto de descalcificación que se suministra con la máquina. Si desea comprar la solución para la descalcificación, póngase en contacto con un representante del servicio de atención al cliente De’Longhi al 1-800-322- 3848 (U.S. Solamente). Nota: Utilice exclusivamente la solución de descalcificación suministrada por De’Longhi.

Vierta el contenido de la botella (20 onzas / 0.5 litro) en el depósito de agua y luego añada el agua (20 onces / 0.5 litro – como se describe en las instrucciones de la botella).

Coloque un contenedor (con una capacidad mínima de 60 onzas / 1.5 litros) debajo del dispensador de vapor para espumar la leche (Figura 5).

Active la máquina pulsando el botón (Figura 6).

Espere a que las luces indicadoras y se enciendan con luz fija (no intermitente).

Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón al menos durante 5 segundos (Figura 29). El botón se iluminará para indicar que inicia el

proceso de descalcificación (las luces y permanecen apagadas para indicar que no se puede hacer ningún espresso/café.

Gire el botón de control del vapor media vuelta a la izquierda (Figura 7). La solución de descalcificación saldrá por el dispensador de vapor y empezará a llenar el contenedor que está debajo.

El proceso de descalcificación realiza automáticamente una serie de servicios y pausas para eliminar los residuos de cal depositados dentro de la máquina.

Transcurridos unos 30 minutos, cuando se encienda la luz , gire el control de vapor media vuelta a la derecha (Figura 8) hasta que se pare.

Nota: Es necesario enjuagar la máquina para eliminar los residuos de la solución de descalcificación que hayan quedado.
