3.The compound slide saw is equipped with
ADJUSTING CLAMPING ACTION OF
TABLE LOCKING MECHANISM

When rotating the table, the table locking lever (A) Fig. 33, must be compressed. When the locking lever (A) is not compressed, the table should be in the locked position. When the clamping action of the table locking mechanism needs adjusting, proceed as follows:
1.Move the table to the 22.5 degree left miter angle.
2.Loosen locknut (B) Fig. 33, using the open end wrench supplied, and turn screw with allen wrench
(C) supplied. Turn screw clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease clamping action of locking lever (A). IMPORTANT: After adjustment is completed, tighten locknut (B), just enough to take all play out of the handle assembly. Tightening locknut (B) too much will defeat the purpose of the adjustment.
