Updating the list of radio stations

1 Use SETUP to select “Network Setting”, then press

ENTER ( page 16).

2 Use <JOG DIAL> to select “Internet Radio”, then press ENTER.

3 Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select “Auto Update” or “Manual Update”, then press ENTER.

• The update screen appears.

If “Radio List Version” is selected, the current version is displayed.

4 When “Auto Update” is selected:

Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select “ON”, then press -1ENTER.

• The radio station list is updated automatically.

 

When “Manual Update” is selected:

4 Use <JOG DIAL> to select “Start”, then press ENTER.

• The radio station list is updated.

Playing music files stored on a computer

(music server)

Function : USB/NET

Connections to the required system and specific settings must be made in order to play music files.

Use this procedure to play music files (in WMA, MP3 or WAV format) or playlists (m3u or wpl) stored on a computer (music server) connected to the CHR-F103 via a network.

Before starting, you must launch the computer’s server software and set the files as server contents. For details, see the operating instructions of your server software.

1 Set the input source to “USB/NET”.

The host names of the computers (music servers) in the network are also displayed.

2 Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select the host name of the computer (music server) on which the music files you want to play are located, then press ENTER.

3 Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select the search item or the desired folder, then press ENTER.

When a folder is selected and [G] is pressed, playback of the files in the folder begins.

4 Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select the desired music file, then press ENTER or [G].

Connection starts, and playback begins once the buffer reaches “100%”.

Press [9] to select the next file, [8] to select the previous file.

The pause mode is set if [G] is pressed during playback, and playback resumes when [G] is pressed again.

Press BACK during playback to display the previous menu screen.

¢Playing music files that have been preset or

registered in your favorites

Music files can be preset or registered in your favorites and played using the same procedure as for Internet radio stations.
