Letters (capital and small) and numbers can be used to change the artist, album, track, playlist and track genre names.

1 In the stop mode, display the title you want to change

page 22).
2 Press [EDIT].
3 Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select “Rename”, then press ENTER.
4 Use <JOG DIAL> or [D H] to select the item to be changed, then press ENTER.
Title Rename:
To change the track/file name
Artist Rename:
To change the artist name
Album Rename:
To change the album name
Playlist Rename:
To change the playlist name
Genre Change:
To change the genre name
When an artist or album name is selected and the name is changed, all the tracks with that artist or album name are changed as well.
When a track is selected and its artist or album name is changed, the artist or album name is only changed for that track.
5 To clear one character at a time:
Use [F G] to set the cursor to the letter to be cleared, -1 then press [CLEAR].

5 To clear the entire title:
-2 Press and hold in [CLEAR] for at least 2 seconds.
6 Use [CALL] to switch between capital and small letters.
7 Use [NUMBER] (1 ~ 9, 0/10, +10) to select the character to be input.
A maximum of 114 characters per title can be input.
