BASIC FAULT FNDING

No sound, No Video:

-Check all the cables give audio are connected correctly.

It is not possible to use an external source:

-Check the input connections. -Check the external source.

External source errors:

-Check the input cables are correctly connected.

-The source signal is very weak.

-The source format is not correct.

No sound during playback:

-Check that the MUTE function is not activated.

The remote control doesn't work:

-Check the batteries.

Long initiation time: (more than 20 seconds): -Check that the hard disk is correctly connected.

The new hard disk you cannot be used:

-The disk must be partitioned and formatted before use.

Corrupt recording:

-Repair or defragment the hard disk.

TV channels cannot be scanned:

-The aerial is not connected correctly.

-The source format is not correct.

Weak TV reception:

-Check that the aerial gives good TV reception.

-Use fine tuning to improve the reception.

-The source format is not correct.

Recordings have no colour:

-The source format is not correct.
