You cannot transfer files directly from MusicMatch to your player. You must use Music Explorer.

For more information, see “How Do I Transfer Music from My PC to My Treó 10?” on page 19.

Creating Digital Music Files

The Treó 10 plays only MP3 and Windows Media™ files. However, you can place any type of file in any of the subfolders, which means you can use your Treó 10 as a data transport tool.

Certain CODEC settings optimize the music files you create. For more information, see “CODEC Settings” on page 46.

MusicMatch can display track,

album title, and artist information for the CD in your computer’s CD drive via the Internet’s Compact Disc DataBase (CDDB). You must be connected to the Internet to view and download this information. If you are not, each track will simply be labeled with the track number.

To create a music file:

1.Load a music CD into your computer’s CD drive.

2.Open MusicMatch.

3.Select Settings from the Options menu.
