How to operate the Memory Stick player

Music data recorded on "MG Memory Stick" with ATRAC3 (an audio compression technology) can be played on this deck. Recording from music CD to the MG Memory Stick is also possible. The following explanation for the operation is made assuming that the MG Memory Stick has already been inserted.

First press the [DISC] button to switch to the disc mode. It is assumed here that a MG Memory Stick has already been loaded into the deck.

•Artist name and music title (track titles) can be displayed when

ATTENTION they are recorded on the MG Memory Stick. A maximum of 10 characters (1 byte alphabets, numeric or symbols) can be

displayed.

•Music data recorded with MP3/WMA and ATRAC3 Plus cannot be played.

[DISC] button

Listening to MG Memory Stick

1	Press the [DISC] button to switch to the Memory Stick
	player mode.

Disc mode will switch from CD player ➔ Memory Stick player in order each time the button is pressed.

If an external CD changer is connected, each additional press of the [DISC] button will switch modes from CD changer 1 ➔ CD changer 2 ➔ Memory Stick player ➔ CD player.

A changer or player with no discs loaded will be skipped.
