Whenreplacingbatteries, replaceboth batteries.
Donot mixnew and used batteriesoperating
together,o therwise, the op eration lifetim e will
bemuch shorter than normal.
Removethe batteriesif theunit will not be used
fora prol onged period of tim e.
Theremotecontrol transmitsa directional
infraredbeam.Besure to aim theremote
controldirectlyat theinfrared sensor ofthe
unitduringoperation.
Ifthe senso rha s been covered or there is a
largeobjectbetween the remotecontrol and
thesensor,the sensorwill not respond.
Thesensormay not able to receive the
remotesi gnal when it is expo sed to direct
sunlightora strong artificiallight (fluorescent
orstrobe light).In this case, chan ge the
directionofthe light or repositionthe unit to
avoiddi rect lighting.
