6.9Reset Latched Alarms

System and Control Options

6.9Reset Latched Alarms

The Reset Latched Alarms menu allows you to clear any leak or fault alarms that have been defined as latched.

To clear latched alarms:

Log In and Choose Reset Latched Alarm

• From the Main Menu, use the arrows ↑↓ to choose System and Control, then press Enter (see 6.1 - Login for help).

• Enter your password at the Login screen.

• From the System and Control Menu, use the arrows ↑↓ to choose Reset Latched Alarm, then press Enter .

Choose Y to Reset Alarms

• From the Reset Latched Alarms Menu, use the arrows ↑↓ to choose Y (Yes - reset all latched alarms) or N (No - do not reset alarms).

(If no alarms have been set up as latched, the screen displays a message, as shown below right.)

• Press Enter .

This is the only way to reset latched alarms. This step is required to return latched points to their normal state. (To set up digital alarm outputs as latched, see 6.5.3 - Define Alarms as Latched or Unlatched.)
