6 Using Custom and Advanced Features

When the camera is connected to your computer, you can take pictures with a live preview on your

computer screen to help you frame each shot. You can also set the camera’s clock and adjust a number of other settings from your computer. To change the power-saving mode (so your camera remains on after you take a picture with the LCD screen) and further customize your camera’s operation, you can use the Camera Settings menus on the LCD screen.

Taking Pictures From Your Computer With Image Expert

When you connect the camera and take pictures from your computer, you see a live preview of each shot before you capture it. You can control all the camera settings from your computer, and even set the shutter speed.
