qThe Proprinter XL emulation supports all Model 8900 global commands.

qFactory selected power-up defaults for the IBM Proprinter XL emulation are:

Auto LF — NO

Auto CR — NO

Slashed zeros — NO

The last form setting change made via the control panel is retained and restored at power-up.

qSelecting or canceling proportional spacing is not supported.

qDownloading characters (ESC = nl n2 data) is not supported.

The IBM Proprinter XL is a nine-pin dot-matrix impact printer that can print draft-quality or near-letter-quality (NLQ) text characters and dot graphics.
