qWhen the RESP FMT selection is W/ ESC; the format of the responses to the configuration and status requests are preceded by the ASCII ESC character and the string terminator is preceded by a semicolon.

Model 880 Printer Emulation Commands

When operating in the Model 880 emulation mode, your printer can respond to both escape-sequence commands and the standard US ASCII C0 control character commands. The following table lists all of these commands.

Note: The functions performed by many of the control characters in the Model 880 emulation mode depend upon the printer configuration parameters selected via the operator control panel.
