Epson EPI-4000 Left Side View

Your Printer’s Components

You connect your printer to your computer by connecting a cable to one of the two interface connectors at the center rear of your printer. The upper connector is for the parallel interface, and the lower connector is for the serial interface. Connecting the EPI-4000 to your computer is covered later in this chapter.

The left side of the printer, as shown below, includes slots for optional font cards, the ink supply, and a knob for clearing paper jams.
