SelecType
Before entering and using SelecType, you s hould understand how
the buttons on the printer’s contro l p anel work.

Buttons

The functions of the control panel buttons on the printer change
when in SelecType mode.

Using the buttons in SelecType Mode

Note:
You can directly access certain menu items using t he OneTouch modes.
For more information, see “Using the OneTouch Modes” on page 2-12.
1. To enter SelecType mode, press Menu while the printer is
online, or press SelecType (repeatedly if necessary) until the
SelecType light comes on.
2. To change the settings, press Me nu, Item or Value .
❏To select a new menu (menu category), press Menu.
Examples of menus are the Printing menu or the Config
menu.
