Introduction

The installed enclosures fit nearly flush within a table or podium top (figure 1-4), storing the connectors out of the way and out of sight. To access the connectors, the user presses down on the top of the enclosure, releasing a mechanical latch. A gas lift tips the connectors into view.

About the Extender board line driver

The Extron Extender board in the HSA 200CE and 200SE is a one-input VGA – UXGA/VESA line driver with audio. It boosts the video signal between a laptop or desktop computer and a monitor or projector. It has a 300 MHz (-3 dB) video bandwidth.

The Extender accepts one computer-video input and one stereo audio input, and features one buffered VGA-type RGB output and one stereo audio output. With an optional Mac/VGA adapter, the Extender board can also buffer Macintosh signals.

Sync restoration — Each Extender board restores low level sync voltages found on many laptops (as low as two volts) to normal TTL levels.

Stereo audio — Unbalanced stereo audio inputs can be output as balanced or unbalanced stereo audio.
