Adjusting response time

The user operating the client PC may want to adjust the time out interval. The time out interval is the number of seconds that the client waits before communicating with the server.

Adjusting the response time

1.From the Communications menu, select Response Time Out.

2.Select the appropriate time out interval for your network (4-12 seconds). Note: Selecting a longer interval will not slow down client-server communication.

Stopping communication

The connection between the client PC and the server PC may be closed at any time from either PC.

Stopping communications from the server PC

In the Inline Server Software, from the Server menu, select Close Connection.

Stopping communications from the client PC

In the ICS100, from the Communications menu, select Close Connection.
