NAn IR 501 user can mute video and/or audio with a string of IR commands that cannot be duplicated by a computer or control system sending SIS commands. The switcher sends the following responses:

IR 501 RGB and audio mute	{none}	MutX@*1]	Output X@’s RGB and audio
			are muted.
IR 501 RGB mute	{none}	VmtX@*1]	Output X@’s RGB is muted.
IR 501 RGB and audio	{none}	Zpz]	Output X@’s RGB and audio
unmute			are unmuted.

Audio input gain and attenuation

NThe set gain (G) and set attenuation (g) commands are case sensitive.

Set audio input gain to +dB	X$*X%G	InX$•AudX^]

Example:	1*2G	In1•Aud+02]	Set input 1 audio gain to +2 dB.

X$= Input number	0	= off (unmuted)

X%= Audio gain	0	– 24 (1 dB/step)
X^= Numeric dB value	–18 to +24 (45 steps of gain or attenuation) (Default = 0 dB)
X&= Audio attenuation	1	– 18 (1 dB/step)
X*= Output gain	0	= consumer level (–10 dBV)
	1	= professional level (+4 dBu)
