1Transceiver
2The following bit significant indicators define the electronic or optical interfaces that are
3supported by the transceiver. At least one bit shall be set in this field. For Fibre Channel
4transceivers, the Fibre Channel speed, transmission media, transmitter technology, and
5distance capability shall all be indicated. The SONET Compliance Codes are described
6in more detail in table 3.4a.
