FS-100 Functions

VFR MODE

WARNING:

It is critical that the VFR MODE is set properly prior to doing a VFR mode record. This setting is set to OFF whenever the unit is powered down or the DV FORMAT value is changed.

When VFR MODE is set to a value other than OFF, all PN recordings will have the audio MUTED.

Use this setting to enable or disable Variable Frame Rate (VFR) support for the AG-HVX200 VFR mode. This setting also designates the input stream type*:

720/24P or 720/30P on 60 Hz NTSC systems.

720/25P on 50 Hz PAL systems.

*The input stream type is also called the Base Frame Rate.
