Instalación de Ventana Estándar

ADVERTENCIA

Peligro por la Caída de Objetos

El no seguir las instrucciones de instalación para el montaje de su aire acondicionado puede resultar en daños a los bienes, en lesiones o en la muerte.

PASO 1. Después de sacar la unidad de la caja de transporte, (Vea el Diagrama 14).

PASO 2. Colocar los ensambles de las cortinas en el gabinete como se muestra en el Diagrama 13. Utilizar ocho (8) tornillos del No. 8 x 3/8" de cabeza hexagonal con ranura (artículo #1, página 22).

PASO 3. Centrar el gabinete en la ventana con el canal del alféizar colocado contra la repisa de la ventana, como se muestra en el Diagrama15, Sección A-A.

PASO 4. Jalar la banda de la ventana detrás del Canal de Soporte de la Carcasa en la parte superior del gabinete, esto ayuda a mantener el gabinete en su lugar. Instalar el tornillo de cabeza hexagonal con ranura No. 8 x 7ś8" (artículo #3, página 22) en el canal del alféizar en la parte inferior de la abertura de la ventana como se muestra en el Diagrama15.

PASO 5. Extender las cortinas corredizas de cada lado para que los marcos entren en los canales de la ventana. Mientras se sostienen los marcos de la cortina en su lugar, marcar cuatro (4) orificios (los orificios están en las esquinas superiores izquierda y derecha del ensamble de la cortina), dos (2) en el poste de la ventana y dos (2) en el bastidor de la ventana. Deslizar las cortinas desde los puntos marcados y taladrar cuatro (4) orificios de 7/64" de diámetro. Una vez más, extender las cortinas corredizas de cada lado y luego colocar dos (2) tornillos con cabeza Phillips del No. 8 x ½" (artículo #2, página 22) y dos (2)

PRECAUCIÓN

Peligro de Peso Excesivo

Recurrir a dos o más personas durante la instalación del aire acondicionado. De no hacerlo puede resultar con lesiones en la espalda o de otro tipo.

PRECAUCIÓN

Cortar / Rebanar

Aunque se ha tenido mucho cuidado para reducir al mínimo los bordes afilados en la fabricación de la unidad, utilizar guantes u otro tipo de protección para el manejo de la unidad.

De no hacerlo puede resultar con lesiones personales de menores a moderadas.

PARA SACAR LA UNIDAD DE LA FUNDA, UTILICE LAS AGARRADERAS UBICADAS EN CADA UNO DE LOS LADOS DE LA UNIDAD EN LA PARTE FRONTAL CON DECORACIÓN. SOLICITE ASISTENCIA O AYUDA SI ES NECESARIO PARA SOSTENER LA FUNDA MIENTRAS SACA LA UNIDAD DE LA FUNDA. ASEGÚRESE QUE EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO ESTÉ SOBRE UN SOPORTE FIRME ANTES DE SACAR LA UNIDAD DE LA FUNDA.

CUANDO CARGE O MANIPULE LA UNIDAD, SOLICITE ASISTENCIA O AYUDA SI ES NECESARIO PARA SOSTENER LA UNIDAD DE LA PARTE INFERIOR (BANDEJA BASE), MANTENIÉNDOSE ALEJADO DE TODOS LOS OBSTÁCULOS.
