1.1Checking the contents of scanner package

When you unpack the scanner package, make sure that the package contains all the parts on the list included in the package.

If any parts are missing or defective, contact your sales representative. Handle the scanner and accessories with care.

This section describes the names of parts and their functions.

•Front (Flat Bed unit opened view)

	Cover		fixes the document set on

2	Document Bed		For scanning documents
			with the Flat bed, place
			the document here.
3	Document		It fixes the document by

	Screws		They are securing the
			ADF during
			transportation.
