Advanced Workouts
Advanced workouts can include goals for each workout step and varied distances, times, and calories. Use Garmin Connect or Garmin Training Center to create and edit workouts and transfer them to your Forerunner. You can also schedule workouts using Garmin Connect or Garmin Training Center. You can plan workouts in advance and store them on your Forerunner.
note: For more information about transferring data to your Forerunner, see page 9.
Tip: In time/date mode, tap the bezel to view today’s scheduled workout. Press enter to do the workout.
To start an advanced workout:
1.Touch and hold menu > select Training > Workouts > Advanced.
2.Select the workout.
3.Select Do Workout.
4.Press start.
After you begin an advanced workout, the Forerunner displays each step of the workout, including the name of the step, the goal (if any), and current workout data.
As you approach the end of each step, an alarm counts down the time until a new step begins.
