Installation Instructions

FOR YOUR SAFETY

Do not store or use combustible materials, gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

If you smell gas:

FOR YOUR SAFETY Open windows.

If you smell gas: Don’t touch electrical switches.

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED Extinguish any open flame. PART INCLUDED Immediately call your gas supplier.

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED

Phillips screwdriver

 

Flat-blade screwdriver

Open-end or

adjustable wrench

 

Pencil and ruler

Level

Pipe wrenches (2)

Drill, awl or nail

(one for backup)

Anti-tip bracket kit

MATERIALS YOU MAY NEED

Gas line shut-off valve

Pipe joint sealant or UL-approved pipe thread tape with Teflon* that resists action of natural and LP gases

Flexible metal appliance connector (1/2 I.D.) A 5-foot length is recommended for ease of installation but other lengths are acceptable. Never use an old connector when installing a new range.

Flare union adapter for connection to gas supply line (3/4 or 1/2 NPT x 1/2 I.D.)

Flare union adapter for connection to pressure regulator on range (1/2 NPT x 1/2 I.D.)

Liquid leak detector or soapy water.

Lag bolt or 1/2O.D. sleeve anchor (for concrete floors only).
