Drive Enable

Light on indicates that the boom has moved past either non-steer wheel and the drive function has been interrupted.

To drive, hold the drive enable switch up or down and slowly move the drive control handle off center.

Be aware that the machine may move in the opposite direction that the drive and steer controls are moved.

Always use the color-coded direction arrows on the platform controls and the drive chassis to identify the direction the machine will travel.

Low Battery Indicator Light

Flashing light indicates battery power is low and the batteries need to be charged. There is adequate power left to lower the boom and move the machine to a location where the batteries can be charged.

Light on indicates the batteries are fully discharged. Stop using the boom and charge the batteries immediately.

Note: Machines equipped with Low Voltage Interrupt Option will lose primary and secondary boom lift functions when batteries are fully discharged.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

After Each Use

1Select a safe parking location—firm level surface, clear of obstruction and traffic.

2Lower the boom to the stowed position.

3Rotate the turntable so that the boom is between the non-steer wheels.

4Turn the key switch to the off position and remove the key to secure from unauthorized use.

5Chock the wheels.

6Charge the batteries.
