Installing the WinTV USB

ote: DO NOT PLUG THE WinTV-USB into your PC until Nyour PC has fully booted..

To install WinTV USB under Windows 98 or 2000, you will follow these steps:

✓Plug the WinTV USB into your PC or laptop’s USB port(After booting intoWindows)

✓Install the drivers with the WinTV USB Installation CD-ROM

✓After the WinTV USB driver is installed, you will then install the WinTV application software from the WinTV Installation CD-ROM

The following diagram shows the main functions and connectors of the WinTV- USB. Since there are several different models with different features and func- tions, your board may not have all of the components installed.

Board connections

FM: FM radio antenna connection (on some models)

TV: TV antenna or cable TV connection

Audio LineOut: Audio output 1/8” minijack (connects to sound card LineIn jack)

Video In: S-video input with composite adapter.

Audio Line In: Audio input 1/8” minijack
