RC-882 Remote Control

The RC-882 Remote Control Unit (infra-red handset) supplied with the CDR-882 duplicates many of the front panel buttons in both function and operation. Some additional keys are also provided: a set of 0-9 numeric keys for direct access to individual CD tracks, dedicated NEXT and PREVIOUS keys and a RECORD safety key.

Direct Access keys

These operate in the following way:

•To start playback at tracks 1 to 9, press the corresponding 1 to 9 key

•To start playback at track 10, press the 10/0 key

•To start playback at a track numbered 11 or higher, press the >10 key, followed by the separate digits of the track number. Thus to select track 15, press >10, 1 and 5 in order

Record keys

Two red record keys are provided on the handset; to activate the CDR-882’s Record mode, press both buttons simultaneously.
