■ Setting the Scene Mode

Set the scene mode most appropriate to a given scene. The camera will capture images and videos in the optimal mode for the selected scene.

Scene mode type

Description

Auto

Use this mode for normal image/video capture Default setting .

 

 

Sports

The camera will capture 16 images in a period of approximately 1.6 to 2 seconds.

The flash mode is set to (Suppressed Flash).

The captured data is recorded as a JPEG file.

Night Scene This mode prevents only the background from becoming dark when shooting a subject against a night scene, etc.

The flash mode is set to (Red-Eye Reduction, Auto).

It is recommend that you use a tripod, etc., to keep the camera as still as possible.

Portrait

The camera automatically sets the mode most suitable for portraits.

The flash mode is set to (Red-Eye Reduction, Auto).

 

 

Landscape

The camera automatically sets the mode most suitable for landscape pictures.

 

 

 

The flash mode is set to

(Suppressed Flash).

 

 

Back Light

This mode prevents the subject from becoming dark when

 

 

 

 

 

shooting back light or a bright background.

 

 

 

The flash mode is set to

(Forced flash).

Pressing MENU saves the selected setting,

 

and the camera exits the Capture Menu

 

screen.

The Scene mode setting selected here returns to Auto when the power is turned off or Setting to the Default P25 is executed.
