some running gear insulate the welding generator from the ve- hicle frame. Always connect a ground wire from the genera- tor equipment grounding ter- minal to bare metal on the ve- hicle frame as shown.

If unit does not have GFCI re-

ceptacles, use GFCI-protected extension cord.
