OPERATION
ADJUSTING CUTTING HEIGHT
Mower cutting height is raised, lowered, and maintainedby adjusting caster and gauge wheels. Refer to figure and accompanying chart for ap- proximate cutting heights.
Raise mower with tractor hydraulicsto adjust gauge and caster wheels.
It is important that all three adjustments be the same. To set cutting height, match numbers shown in illustration. (Example: hole 2 in caster adjustment with hole 2 in gauge wheel adjustment, etc.)

Striking the ground with blades gives one of the most damaging shock loads a mower can encounter and, if this occurs repeatedly, it will cause damage to mower and drive.
