3.8.4 GND LANDING FLAP DISCRETE OR FLAP OVERRIDE | |
Type: | Supplied by Flap or Flap selector handle switch. This input can be paralleled with, or used |
| exclusively by a Flap Override Switch if an alternate source of Flap Position is used. |
Signal Status: Landing Flaps or Not Landing Flaps
Fault monitoring: Indication of landing flaps selected for more than 60 seconds at airspeeds above 250 knots will result in a flap switch fault which will cause a GPWS INOP indication.
Note: This can be caused either by a flap switch fault or by the Flap Override switch being left in the on position.

GND Landing Flaps Discrete | Selected => | “Flaps Selected” |
or Flap Override | Not Selected => | “Flaps Not Selected” |
Note: If Flap Reversal Program Pin is enabled for MK VII EGPWC, the Audio readout will be:
