Resettable 24 VDC special application power is available on both the MS-2 and MS-4 control panels. Nonresettable 24 VDC special application power is available only on the MS-4.

2.4.3 Relays

The MS-2 and MS-4 control panels provide an alarm and fail-safe trouble relay and the MS-4 also provides a supervisory relay. Each Form-C relay is rated for 2 amps @ 30VAC (resistive).

Note that relay connections may be power-limited or nonpower-limited, provided that 0.25” minimum spacing is maintained between conductors of power-limited and nonpower-limited circuits.

Note: Relay contacts are shown with power applied to the panel and no active troubles, alarms or supervisories.

The Trouble Relay is a fail-safe relay which will transfer on any trouble or total power failure.
