Auto mode (standard setting). Automatically switches the following two models depending on the total RAM capacity.

l 11MB or less (standard 4MB + optional 7MB or less): virtual memory model

more (standard 4MB + optional

8MB or more): speed model (equivalent to banding mode off)

Speed model. Attaches importance to speedup of printing control, thus processing all pages per job. Print density depends on the RAM capacuy.

l 300 dpi when total RAM capacity is 4M to 11M bytes (standard 4MB + optional 7MB or less)

l 600 dpi when total RAM capacity is 12M bytes or more (standard 4MB + optional 8MB or more).
