When the PCL emulation is used and if the physical paper size (tray size or MFF paper size) is different from the logical paper size (value specified by setup menu of paper size), a paper mismatch error occurs.
General TipsObserve the following tips when handling print media.
•Do not use paper that is wrinkled or curled.
•Do not use paper with staples or metal parts.
•When printing both sides of sheets, we recommend you to use an optional duplex unit. If your printer has no duplex unit, use the
manual feed slot and remove curls after first printing. Use paper in 60 to 90 g/m2 (16 to 24 pound) weight for the duplex unit and 6 0 to 105 g/m2 (16 to 28 pound) weight for the manual feed slot.
Paper thinner than this weight may be wrinkled thus causing decrease in print quality.
