7 Connect the Power Cord
The copier comes with the power cord for the country to which it is shipped. If the plug on your power cord doesn’t look familiar, contact your dealer or local HP Sales and Support Office.
WARNING In case of emergencies, be sure that the plug in the outlet is readily accessible. Power is present in the copier even if the switch is off. To completely shut off power, you must disconnect the power cord. To avoid electric shock, be sure to use the power cord with a properly grounded outlet.
■Insert the connector on the power cord into the power socket on the back of the copier and the other end into a properly grounded power outlet.
