5 Load the Paper

Check the paper-width selector

✦If you are loading U.S. letter- or legal-sized paper, move the paper-width selector toward the back of the tray.

✦If you are loading A4-sized paper, move the paper-width selector toward the front of the tray.

For letter- or legal-sized paper, move the selector toward the back of the tray.

For A4-sized paper, move the selector toward the front of the tray.

Check the output tray

Make sure the notches on the left and right sides of the bottom of the output tray are securely inside the slots on the top of the lower tray.

If the output paper tray is loose, set the left and right notches into the slots and press down gently.
