Clearing the HP ChaiVM cache

Some Java applets cause temporary files to be saved in HP ChaiVM. These files can unnecessarily take up precious storage memory, causing programs to run slowly, or causing the Jornada to freeze. It is a good idea to periodically clear the ChaiVM cache to remove these unwanted files and free up the memory they consume.

To clear the cache in HP Chai VM

1.Tap Start, tap Programs, tap HP Applications, and then double-tapHP ChaiVM.

2.Tap Options to open the ChaiVM Options dialog box.

3.Tap Clear Cache to remove all ChaiVM temporary files.

4.Tap OK to exit the ChaiVM Options dialog and then close HP ChaiVM.
