•Internet Options—Contains controls for browser settings including connection and auto-dialing, Internet security levels, default home and search pages, cache settings and history settings.
•Keyboard—The Keyboard control panel allows you to set options for how quickly characters repeat when you hold down a key on your HP Jornada keyboard.
•Network—Use the Network control panel to configure your network interface cards and drivers, and to type your user name and password for connecting to a network.
•Owner—The Owner control panel allows you to store personal information, such as your name and address, and to choose whether to display this information each time you turn on your HP Jornada.
•Power—The Power control panel is the place to check the condition of your batteries and set options that can conserve battery power. For more information, see the Managing battery power section in this chapter.
•Regional Settings—The Regional Settings control panel allows you to set the format for time, date, numbers, and currency based on your geographic region. Choose from preset schemes or set individual options.
•Remove Programs—The Remove Programs control panel is the best way to delete or uninstall programs you no longer use.
•Socket LP-E/EIO—Control panel allows you to check network IP information and control status icons, program launching and ethernet driver delay settings for use with Socket LP-E/EIO LAN PC cards.
•Stylus—The Stylus control panel enables you recalibrate the stylus or to set options for double-tap speed and area.
•System—The System control panel displays information about the hardware and software configuration and enables you to adjust the allotment of program memory and storage memory.
•Volume & Sounds—The Volume & Sounds control panel allows you to set the speaker volume and turn on and off the sounds associated with different system events. You can save your options as a sound scheme, just as you do with Windows 95/98.
