Private job feature

The private printing feature lets a user specify that a job is not printed until that user releases it using a four-digit personal identification number (PIN) through the printer unit control panel.

Specifying a private job

The user specifies the PIN in the driver and it is sent to the printer unit as part of the print job. To specify from the driver that a job is private, select the Private Job option and type a four-digit PIN.

The user can print a private job from the printer unit control panel.
