Record the part number and date code of the adapter for future reference. If your adapter requires service in the future, the part number and date code will be needed by HP service personnel. This information is provided on stickers affixed to the adapter. Seethe example below (note that your information might differ from the example).

Gather Tools and Accessories
The only tools required when installing the SCSIadapter are a #lO Torx driver or a small flabblade screwdriver, and a grounding wrist strap.
