replacing an ink cartridge

To replace an ink cartridge:

1.Verify that the top of the paper tray is down.

2.Verify that the printer is turned on.

3.Open the printer’s front door.

The carriage moves to the center of the printer.

4.Press the Release button on the ink cartridge to be replaced, lift the ink cartridge out of the carriage, then discard it.
