When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:
●Memory module (see Memory module on page 61)
●RTC battery (see RTC battery on page 60)
●Fan and heat sink (see Fan/heat sink assembly on page 91)
●Processor (see Processor on page 95)
Remove the system board:
1.Close the computer.
2.Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you.
3.Disconnect the rear speaker cable (1) and the optical drive cable (2) from the system board.
4.Turn the computer right side up, with the front toward you.
5.Open the computer.
